How can I tag my Documents, Templates and Content Library items in PandaDoc?

Focus:  The focus of this self-help article is to provide steps and details on how to “tag” your content items in PandaDoc.

What is tagging?: Tagging is a way to add “keywords” to easily organize your documents, templates and content library items in PandaDoc. It will make it easier to quickly find content based upon what you are looking for. You can also pick from a list of existing tags you have set up previously to add to items quickly or create new ones.

Use cases:

  1. Separate documents and templates by type – Proposals, NDA, Contracts, etc.
  2. Add different categories to Content Library items to be able to search specific content by tags
  3. Add a client name as a tag to different documents in a package sent to one client to tie them together
