A bartending contract is a legally binding document between two parties (bartender and the client), which states that the bartender will provide bartending services in exchange for compensation. Such an agreement is made during the time of employment or event planning.
Although it’s not compulsory to have a contract to provide bartending services, it is highly recommended that you do have one in place. This is because a bartending agreement covers deliverables, payments, schedules, terms and conditions, etc. It also shows that both parties have agreed to all terms mentioned in the contract.
A bartending contract, much like any contract, shows proof of services to be completed and an agreement of terms between two parties. It also prevents scope creep, ensures you get paid on time, and provides a clear direction as what to do in case of disputes.
