A design system quote is a document that sets the price for creating a design system — a collection of UI elements, style aproaches, limitations, and best practices. At its core it is the same as any other quote, the difference is only in the type of work.

To create a quote document, you need to accurately estimate the work and write down the detailed pricing, including taxes and other overhead expenses. Then spell out various terms and conditions pertinent to your situation, e.g. conditions for revision(s), a confidentiality clause or a rights transfer.
