Project Description

Contract Terms

This flooring contract, between [Sender.Company] and [Client.FirstName][Client.LastName], is hereby entered into as of (Date)

An individual aged 18+ must be present when [Sender.Company]‘s installation team arrives. If the installation team arrives at the scheduled time and is unable to access the work area, a $50 rescheduling fee will apply.

[Client.FirstName][Client.LastName] is responsible for providing electricity during the flooring project and for ensuring that adults, children, and pets do not interfere with the project’s progress.

This flooring contract shall be the sole agreement between [Sender.Company] and [Client.FirstName][Client.LastName]. No other agreements, arrangements, or promises are valid.

[Sender.Company]‘s liability shall in all cases be limited to the terms of our liability insurance, and shall in no case extend beyond damages directly caused by our work.

[Sender.Company] shall in no event be held liable for delay, cancellation, or damage due to unforeseen circumstances, such as a natural disaster.

This flooring contract can be cancelled at any time up to 24 hours prior to the first scheduled on-site project date without penalty. After that date, the initial deposit becomes non-refundable and additional fees may be charged for work completed on a prorated basis.‌

Warranty

[Sender.Company] offers a 1-year guarantee on flooring installation. This covers defects to materials and the installation itself, but requires that [Client.FirstName][Client.LastName] perform manufacturer-recommended upkeep to the flooring once it is installed. The guarantee does not cover issues unrelated to defective materials or installation.

For a period of (Number) months from this project’s date of completion as described in the Project Description above, [Sender.Company] will repair (Service) as a result of defect in workmanship free of charge.

For this warranty to be effective, you must:

Pay the full contract price
Retain evidence of payment in full
Have a copy of the executed contract

Payment and Terms

An initial deposit equal to 25% of the total project fee is due prior to the first scheduled on-site working day. The remaining balance is due immediately upon project completion. Any payment past that date will be subject to a $100 late fee.
