This HANDYMAN QUOTE (hereinafter referred to as the "Contract") made and entered into this [Document.CreatedDate], by and between:

HEREINAFTER, the Handyman and the Client agree to work together under the following terms and conditions:

Acceptance of Contract

After the acceptance of this Contract, the [Sender.Company] will contact the [Client.Company] within (enter number) of business days to find a convenient time to carry out the work.

Description of Services

Terms of Payment

[Client.Company] agrees to make an (insert amount) % deposit before the initiation of the work. The balance amount shall be paid within (insert amount) day/s of completion of the work. In case the balance amount is delayed for more than (insert amount) day/s, an additional late fee of $(insert amount) shall be imposed. 

Accepted payment methods are cash, credit, check, and online funds transfer.

Reschedule

In case of a schedule change, a minimum of (insert amount) hours' notice is required to reschedule.

In case the [Client.Company] fails to do so, the [Sender.Company] can charge an extra (enter amount), then proceed with the work.

Validity of Contract

Unless otherwise expressly stated in the Contract, the quotation mentioned above is valid for a period of (insert amount) days/months after it is issued by [Sender.Company]

Any modifications beyond that shall require confirmation for adjustment by [Sender.Company].

Terms and Conditions

  1. In the case the Client wants to add new services beyond this quotation, the client shall convey the same to the Handyman as soon as possible. Subsequently, the Handyman shall create a new contract reflecting the new services. Client is required to make a deposit of (insert amount) % before the new work begins.

  2. Handyman and its agents or representatives agree to act in a respectful and professional manner during the work process.

  3. Handyman agrees to leave the work area after ensuring it is neat and tidy.

  4. Client understands that, at times, unsightly materials may be left out when the work is in progress. Upon the completion of the project, however, it shall be the duty of Handyman to collect all the tools used to provide the services and tidy the work area to a basic cleanliness standard.

  5. Handyman can, at its discretion, cancel certain appointments on short notice in the event of natural calamities or other extreme weather conditions that directly inhibits the Handyman and its representatives to complete the work scheduled for the day. In case of other emergencies, the Handyman shall contact the client as soon as possible and reschedule the appointment accordingly. 

  6. Client understands that certain activities may be loud or disruptive in nature. Handyman shall make sure to mitigate the disruptiveness to the best of their ability.

Property Access

Client agrees to be present during the scheduled work time to ensure that the Handyman has proper access to the working area.

Termination

If the Client wishes to terminate the project, then it is the responsibility of the client to compensate the Handyman for all the services provided at the time of the termination.

Handyman may terminate the project at its discretion if the Client acts in an unprofessional, disrespectful manner, including making any physical or verbal threats to the Handyman or its representatives.

Warranty

[Sender.Company] warrants that all materials and workmanship shall be free from defect for a period of (insert amount) months/year(s) from the date of installation. Any materials determined by the Handyman or its representatives within that period to be defective shall be fixed or replaced, as needed. 

Damages caused by negligence, misuse, or natural calamities are not included under this clause. 

Governing Law

This Contract will be governed under the laws of [Sender.State], and the venue of any dispute arising over this Contract shall be in [Sender.City][Sender.State].
