SEO Manager
Marketing Remote (USA)
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven SEO Manager to lead our organic search initiatives. As an individual contributor in this role, you will own the SEO strategy end-to-end from keyword research and technical optimization to performance measurement and analytics. You will be expected to guide cross-functional teams to execute effectively, working closely with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to identify SEO opportunities and drive measurable results for the business.
You will develop data-driven strategies and manage SEO projects, reporting to the Head of SEO. You will work with SEO copywriters to build keyword strategy and content roadmaps that increase organic visibility and deliver value to our target audience. The ideal candidate combines deep SEO expertise with strong leadership skills, data fluency, and a passion for staying ahead of search trends.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and execute the SEO strategy to drive organic growth, improve organic market share for important business categories, and increase SEO-driven pipeline.
- Work closely with our Demand Generation, Web and Brand marketing teams to create a content strategy that drives organic traffic and delivers on key business goals.
- Oversee holistic on-page optimization strategy including meta tags, headings, content structure, schema markup, FAQs, authorship tags, and internal linking improvements.
- Conduct keyword research and optimize content for maximum search engine visibility. Gather feedback from Sales and Brand collaborators to influence new keywords and topics.
- Track and analyze the performance of your work, making data-driven decisions to optimize for engagement and conversions. Dive into the data and ensure that organic visibility is turning into traffic, signups, and pipeline.
- Leverage Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Tableau and Salesforce data to track KPIs, measure ROI, and produce actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Use Google Search Console to optimize indexing, diagnose issues, and ensure search visibility.
- Stay ahead of the curve, adapting to evolving SEO trends and best practices. Monitor and adapt strategies based on search engine algorithm updates and ever-shifting industry trends.
- Conduct competitor analysisto benchmark performance and identify new growth opportunities.
- Work with a GEO-focused partner agency to implement a series of tests with the intent of improving brand visibility in LLMs like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude.
- Work closely with the localization team to understand nuances in product and local terminology in order to provide recommendations for selecting target keywords in international markets, prioritizing pages for localization, and optimizing content.
About you:
- 5+ years experience leading SEO strategy, ideally as an SEO Manager for a B2B business or similar position.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
- Demonstrated experience using key SEO tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.)
- Track record of managing successful SEO campaigns with measurable results on pipeline / revenue
- Excitement around rapid experimentation and learning
- Desire to be on the cutting edge of LLM optimization and ongoing curiosity of the LLM landscape
- Proficiency in keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization, and technical SEO.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to turn data into strategy.
- Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles and their impact on SEO.
- Experience with international SEO strategies and conducting in-language keyword research
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
- Experience managing an SEO team and/or agency partners.
- Expertise in schema markup and structured data.
- Knowledge of content marketing integration with SEO strategies.
- Experience working within Contentful CMS
The annual OTE is from $140K to $150k (base + bonus combined).
