Staff Product Manager – Core UX
Product Remote (Portugal) Remote (Poland) Remote (Ukraine)
Overview
PandaDoc is hiring a Staff Product Manager to lead one of the most foundational areas of our user experience — the systems and surfaces that define how users navigate, find value, and complete tasks across the platform. Thousands of teams rely on PandaDoc daily to manage business-critical workflows — and this role shapes how seamless, intuitive, and scalable that experience feels from the moment they log in.
You’ll lead the product strategy for our navigation architecture, layout systems, and shared application surfaces — transforming them into a cohesive, high-performing experience that accelerates time-to-task and reduces friction. This includes high-impact spaces like the homepage, navigation, and account settings, as well as the reusable scaffolding and structural patterns that other product teams rely on to deliver consistent, workflow-aware experiences.
This is a platform UX leadership role with broad, cross-functional impact: your work will simplify complexity, standardize user journeys, and enable modular, AI-assisted workflows across the product.
It’s a high-leverage IC position for someone who thrives at the intersection of user experience, frontend architecture, and platform strategy — and who can drive alignment, adoption, and usability at scale.
In this role, you will:
- Champion intuitive, consistent UX flows that help users move seamlessly from entry points to task completion — across product areas.
- Define and drive the product strategy for navigation, layout systems, and shared surfaces across PandaDoc.
- Support growth, AI, and workflow initiatives by introducing modular layout structures and reusable UI patterns that enable guided, personalized experiences across the app.
- Use experimentation, usage data, and usability research to optimize navigation and reduce time-to-task across core surfaces.
- Own the lifecycle of key UX infrastructure, including:
- Navigation shell and layout architecture
- Shared application surfaces (e.g., main navigation, account settings, home)
- Reusable scaffolds for page structure and modular workflows
- Frontend performance standards (load time, responsiveness etc.)
- Collaborate with engineering to ensure the frontend structure is scalable, maintainable, and performant — while evolving away from fragmented or legacy surface logic.
- Partner with design leadership to promote consistent UX patterns and visual standards across surfaces and teams.
- Work cross-functionally with product teams to support platform adoption, clarify ownership boundaries, and reduce redundancy.
- Ensure key surfaces continuously improve based on telemetry, metrics, testing, and real-world user outcomes.
- Work closely with go-to-market and customer-facing teams to understand friction points, onboard new experiences, and translate voice of customer into reusable UX improvements.
- Collaborate with leadership and peers to shape the vision and roadmap for a cohesive, workflow-centric PandaDoc experience.
About You
- 7+ years of product management experience, ideally in frontend infrastructure, shared UX systems, or cross-application platforms.
- Proven success in building and scaling navigation, layout systems, or frontend frameworks adopted across multiple teams.
- Experienced in simplifying complex UX and transforming fragmented journeys into seamless, task-oriented flows.
- Skilled at promoting adoption of reusable UX infrastructure — such as layout standards, design patterns, and modular frontend scaffolds.
- Fluent in experimentation and usability testing, including A/B and multivariate tests to drive UX evolution.
- A systems thinker who brings clarity to complexity, models reusable patterns, and builds scalable solutions.
- Passionate about UX quality and developer experience — with strong product taste and technical fluency.
- Comfortable navigating engineering tradeoffs and driving alignment across design, engineering, and product.
- Effective in both SMB and enterprise environments — balancing flexibility with simplicity and speed.
- Collaborative and pragmatic — you prioritize team velocity, user value, and long-term platform impact.
